Workplace Competition

Kabbalah perspectives on stress at work
Stress. We all feel the heartbeat, shallow breathing and sweaty palms that produced. It seems that we live in a stressful world and the workplace is no exception. It is estimated that the costs of stress in the workplace U.S. employers $ 200 billion each year on such factors as loss of productivity, employee turnover and medical bills.
Most people I recognize that the stress of the big companies "in terms of work will spread throughout the organization. For example, the new Vice President who has part outside the company has generated a great deal of stress. Inside information is considered as viable candidates for the office of VP is significantly affected by the stress of not doing the job expected. His friends fear that it might not be their promotion hopes as well. And, of course, almost all had some level anxiety about how this new person would have an impact on your life.
To reduce the high cost of personal and financial stress, many companies encourage their employees to participate in stress reduction programs. Some companies even offer exercise programs, meditation and periods of massage in the office to help to reduce stress level. And, of course, is not the time served half of self-medication, including alcohol and drugs.
These efforts help, yes? The more we try to reduce stress, faster and more chaotic the workplace seems to get.
The wisdom of the Kabbalah helps us understand why these programs to reduce stress can not work in the long term. Kabbalah tells us that everything that happens is an opportunity for we see our true nature. In fact, we operate in a basic simple: How I can get the most fun (or less pain) for the minimum of effort?
Apply this work, we used the example above. Why the candidate Procedure for the post got angry when no work? Maybe He wanted money to buy a new yacht. Perhaps he wanted the prestige and power of the new position would have given. All that is specific motivations, the real reason is because I would have given pleasure.
The same can be said for all those who have suffered stress when the new guy came on board. In each case, the person affected has been the reaction because it did not intend to get pleasure, or because the new head increase their suffering. It can be difficult and demanding work. Some employees may be concerned even lose their jobs.
Seeing the reality of our nature human is not pleasant, but Kabbalah tells us it is absolutely necessary. It's just to see what we really are, we can be motivated to change. This change is the cause of great mysteries of life: Why am I here? What is the purpose of life? Why is there so much suffering in the world?
Kabbalah gives us the key to answering these questions. The first step is to realized that all our problems and stress are caused by our nature. Kabbalah provides a method to change this nature. When we do that, let's live in balance and harmony. Teamwork in the workplace will be the norm rather than competition. Until then, the stress in the workplace and bring life to keep forward.
