Technology In Workplace

Management of change in the workplace
Shock
Aaarrrgh!
The cry of a manager to run against another organization, technological, competitive, market, industry, socio-political or other significant changes.
Yes administration in the world today is like walking into a minefield land – a time for great change in the day, it will explode and change the landscape irrevocably.
And you never know when or where it's going to explode … or what he will do for the environment.
Let's face it …
Whichever tools you use today … next year will be different.
Whatever your customers want today … next few years they want something different.
Who are your main competitors Today … next year will be different.
Well, maybe that, year after year.
Or maybe before the end of the year!
Like it or not, you will be faced with change.
But as history shows that those who resist change will be left behind, I suggest starting to love it!
You see I have painted a negative picture of change – as a field of landmines – I would not in due course.
Change is good. It's great! Unless out for change, would not receive the high standard of living we have today, right?
If Why sometimes shudder at the idea of change? Fear? Inertia?
Probably a natural human instinct. But if you are resisting an impending change – whether a technological advance, new market trends corporate restructuring, new people to handle, or anything else – I suggest you determine what is driving their resistance and make an effort to overcome as quickly as possible.
In fact, I encourage you to seek changes before it actually begins with you, your team or your company. In this way, you will not be caught with off guard … and, indeed, you are one step ahead.
Now, you must use your opinion on the change worthwhile to prepare – the technologies that can have an impact on you, that market forces are real (as opposed to temporary modes), and the corporate maneuvering that could affect you and your team.
And you have to think carefully how to respond – if you rush to take a chance … or move more slowly, see what unfolds. (You can pay to move slowly. For example, in the 1990s to the mid-afternoon, many businesses, large and small, have lost money in the race to reinvent the Internet.)
As a manager you also have to take your team to accept and embrace change. Whether to get new software, to explore solutions to new problems, or work with new people.
At the end of the day, coping with change is really about how you feel the change.
If you focus on what you can achieve change in rather than what you could lose one day I see a much more positive and able better to deal with it.
