Retaliation In The Workplace
What is the best way to survive a workplace where bullying is openly advocated violence?
In my work on a daily basis, I was verbally attacked several times and have also had items thrown at me. For some reason, management is nothing. In fact, in reality I said that the need for "light." If someone threw a cup of coffee in his head, and has called a "dumbf * ck", do you think that the best way to deal with is "relieving"? I'm afraid things will only get worse because HR is a very strong factor in my department reprisals. insipidus policy says that those who complain are safe, but the reality is that they are not. I need to cling to this job during this difficult period, and there is simply no other opportunities in other departments or outside the company. What advice can you give me on how to keep my sanity in a workplace where people are completely out of line, and nobody cares?
When you work, is a small independent company or part of a string or other mega-corp business. If you can document what is happening it is to get at least one witness who is on their side, or go to your company HQ or if your state has a labor relations board. If you can document the fact that management is not maintain order in the workplace may also have grounds for a civil action.
