music in the workplace
Headphones workplace.?

I am seeking information about employees on a personal music industry. My fear is that kids I work with will not be able to hear the alarm or someone they cried because they have their music blaring. Suggestions?

I suggest you visit the Web site OSHA For information on security conditions and regulations in the workplace. Although many are OSHA regulations regarding hearing protection workers, and in some cases requiring a helmet in certain particularly noisy acoustic environments, Section 5 (a) (1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act, often called the general service provision, employers must provide "to each of its employees a workplace free from recognized hazards that cause or may cause death or serious injury to their employees. "So, if the actions of other workers may cause a dangerous situation, are forced to correct the situation. This may already be in the company addressesd manual or consult your broker health and safety. http://www.osha.gov/SLTC/noisehearingconservation/standards.html
