Resume Blunders – tell the truth about their qualifications

You're a little shy credits his MBA, and you feel tempted to go ahead and level list that have been attributed to their CV. After all, the company that interests you said that there will be no that even without the maintenance of an MBA, if you do not say a lie, it'll take a miracle to get even a foot in the door.

Not to do. Grades are easy to verify, and most companies (and certainly most recruiters) will take the time to validate their credentials.

Saying that the company has a strict requirement for MBA. What is about to cross the first barrier, making it through a turn or two interviews, then was discovered during a check of credentials? Not only the offer, the disappointment could hurt you on the road. These things have a how to stick to a candidate.

My opinion – Telling the truth.

If you are actively completing course, the solution is simple. List of university and graduation date of something like this:

MBA, The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, granted in December 2008.

On the other hand, if you do not have the degree, experience to argue that the company must tell you, even if you miss one of the requirements. You never know how the business is a prerequisite. It can be any number of variables (for example, well have had problems trying to find quality candidates) to go ahead and give it a shot without frills.

If you are working with a recruiter, is your job to try to persuade the rental company to make an exception.

Of course, people go through and are hired for forgery of resumes, if the truth becomes the end – sometimes dramatically. The new stories are consistently high level leaders in crisis, as people discover they really do not have the education they said yes.

It happened recently when one of the most powerful figures in the gaming industry (the President and CEO of MGM Mirage) resigned as questions swirled about his qualifications. His biography company said it received an MBA from USC, but a researcher private Fraud has decided otherwise. Initially, officials at the MGM was their man – but history does not die.

Apparently this executive attempted explain it by saying that he completed courses toward the degree, left for work, and subsequently obtained an honorary MBA. A spokeswoman USC, however, said the school has received an honorary MBA from 1933 – and received only five in its history.

And if a lie that seems small, unchallenged for many years, returns with a vengeance.

Not ready for this type of fall. Let a favor, tell the truth.
