No job in India for qualified people who aged over 45 years?

I have more than 10 years of overseas experience in IT/BPO industry, well qualified, But after settling in India I find it very hard to get a job here since I am aged over 45 and have no graduation.

Wherever I go, new MBA recruiters ask for youngest with Btech Degree where in I am over 45 years old, and have Pre-University level education in late 1970s.
Can anyone guide me what to do?

Young recruiters may not choose older people without degree ,
possible few reasons

1.Younger recruiters may lack in skill to evaluate the candidate,

2.They are playing safe by eliminating candidates without degree,

3.They have more candidates with degree to choose from,

4.Also in India its considered that older people are difficult to handle, and its true with many people in India,
Most of the team leaders/managers try to keep his subordinates younger than himself,

Your options,

1.Search job with good reference,
(speak to every person you know, ask for them to farward your CV)

2.Its not too late get any special skills as you have more than 20 years of working life, assuming that your health is excellent. Short list few very hot degree/short term crash course, dedicate your time and money , complete course.

3.Try to be your own boss, that is become entrepreneur.

Open your own corporation,
Become consultant, in your area of expertise, BPO/IT
May be you can club option 2 and 3.

Hope this answers your question
