Job Talkin

For my fellow Christians: Do you do more walkin, or more talkin? Can you answer honestly?
Be real… We are still humans even though born again! Our fleshly body causes us to sin, we know that. But when was the last time you examined yourself to see how much of the walk you are actually walkin, and how much of the talk you are actually talkin?
As for me? I do my share of talkin, maybe sometimes more than walkin, maybe sometimes less. Maybe I need to ask myself that question everytime I choose my mouth over my feet!
Being a human Christian is not an easy job at all…
It’s much easier for me to talk about what I should be doing than to actually do it! Life is a constant struggle, and I feel like Paul when he wrote about struggling with wanting to do good, but doing the opposite.(Romans 7: 14-25) In some things I have improved over the years, but I have a long way to go.
I need to stop before I do things a lot more often, and really think about what Jesus would do. And I need to bite my tongue a lot more. It’s not easy at all…
