Job Outlook

What are the prospects for work and for those with a major in computer science?
Computer jobs pay well, but I've been meant for companies outsourcing to places like India, leaving those who are here in America, no job. Is this true or are the prospects employment for someone who specializes in computer science is still good?
The picture is not horrible, but there are a lot of competition, to go ahead and get good work, you must be above the rest. Must have computer skills, but also a lot of great qualities of people. I have known of cooperatives are not hired in my company, because when my boss told to love our cooperatives to obtain not only the experience of software development, but also experience with software quality control said they thought quality control below them. This was not exactly what he thought was under him that was my boss was the way he said and attitude. Many people are not computer literate people have and can not find jobs because of it (I can think of at least four examples of guys who are great with a program that could not find work for their lives because they have absolutely no people skills.)
