Am I obliged, as a small business owner to give an overview of the functions of the new recruits?
I'm new to all this. I need to know if there is a legal responsibility to my job descriptions of employees. I prefer to have "open" to do a job I do. I want all employees to act as I would like everything in the office is important, it needs all the attention. So, really I have to give a description of what will be and will not be?
There is no legal obligation to provide a job description. In fact, probably most employers do not have descriptions job specific. And those that do are usually the end point "other" job assignments.
