What would you do if your workplace had a mouse problem, they refused to fix it?

My work is at least 2-3 observations mouse-days (in broad daylight with many people around you!). It is dramatic because the old adage "all you see, there are 50 more hidden. At present, try to address the problem with some cheap and inefficient traps. The problem was getting worse and I think that more radical approaches are needed. This can not be a safe working environment, healthy … I believe that many staff are involved in force management issue for fear of being labeled as troublemakers. Can anyone offer advice on how to deal with this problem?
