Employment History function:

In 1959, the Employment Exchanges Compulsory Notification Vacancy Act was passed by Parliament and after notification of its rules, which came into effect from the 05/01/1960. Under the provisions of Act all establishments in the public sector and all institutions in the private sector tends to employ 25 or more workers are required to notify their vacancies and also make quarterly and biennial returns on the stock of employment in their region. The creation of a new Department of Employment: A New Generation Generation Ministry Employment and Training has been excavated in the Department of Labour and Employment Notification No. You 18/16/2007-GC Govt (2) / 7219 dated 11/04/2007 and 31/07/2007 with the following main objectives:
- Develop a vision, strategy and policy framework for job creation and training
Propose measures for synergy of the plans and programs of the various departments working directly or indirectly to job creation and vocational training. - Advise on the institutional and organizational mechanism for effective implementation of the action plan for job creation and vocational training to actually working young people by improving their skills and competencies.
- For regular plan, implement, monitor and control action plans for creating jobs in the state and advice on further action.
- In order to facilitate human resource planning and training in all key sectors of the economy.
- On the basis of critical gaps in various services sectors and to facilitate the processing of these differences by the requirement of national and international markets.
To identify and advise on regulatory policy-based employment training. - Facilitate educational institutions more professional job-oriented public-private partnership mode in accordance with the request of qualified manpower and capacity existing institutions.
- Exploiting the potential of various youth groups and proper self-help educational organizations.
