If you are fired, the company that works to disseminate information about it to a potential employer?

One of my friends was fired because of a problem attitude. "He had the same attitude during the 10 years that works. I think he was fired because of the economy and do not want to give anything. Even said that he would deny if asked by unemployment. When she started job hunting again, what does a potential employer? Legally your previous employer can say when asked? He is worried you will not find paid work, as well as the ultimate cause of a fire being fired.
