An employer may require you to make a statement against another employee?

I just got suspended. Discover a colleague was threatened insubordination and dismissal if they did not write a text against me. I shook my office and say they suspended because he lied. The only reason I have a statement against me because the other person to fear for their jobs if they did not write. Is this legal? We are a Union shop and the other person has never been informed of their rights to have a union representative with them during questioning.

Come on, guys are slime Management. That's what they learn to do and it works in people who do not know their rights. File a grievance protesting the suspension and said that fool you work with too editorial writing his statement. Tell him he was under duress when he wrote, because it threatened their jobs. Finally, it is your job to inform you of your rights, they will do whatever they want, provided they do not need a butler to be there.
