Why most companies do anti-poaching agreement?
How about this scenario. I have great company. I pay well, treat my employees as well and everyone likes to work with / to me. My average employee has been with me for over 15 years. He can barely get up. An employee discovered that her husband is screwing around or has developed a problem with alcohol / drugs. His family problems start with large negative effects on their lives. His personal problems begin to do their jobs and the welfare of society. It creates problems that have a negative impact on my business and other employees. After several months I have to let the employee go to protect my business and other m employees. Should not try to protect myself and my employees? Here is another. Employee 2 is a good employee. I work and treat them well. They have four years university degree and have worked for myself for 10 years. I get paid around $ 100K per year. However, I think that since I started my company 30 years ago and I have invested and risked more than a million dollars I left my company, I have to pay myself better I do my employee. I make $ 200K a year. My employee is ambitious, a feature that I admire as well. They want to earn $ 200 000 per year and be the boss. Good for them. But if I lose my customers, and employees for their ambition? Or should I try to protect my business and employees?
