The Employee Handbook is a rulebook

employee handbook should give more information than just post a list of rules. It allows the management the opportunity to communicate the company's mission and culture together with the establishment of expectations.

What should be the main purpose of a used book used? Should the rules that employees must follow? It should be a marketing vehicle to attract potential employees to look for employment opportunities the company? Or should have a written Road to assist with business decisions that impact employees?

Various forms of employee handbook were adopted according to with the management wants to deliver messages. It might be useful to examine the characteristics of three different types of books before the end of one for your organization.

Dominated rules tend to limit manual employees ultimately. Manuals written using the predominant theme shows that employees are required to adopt a document legal. The manual deals primarily with the specific policies and procedures that appear to cover the aspects legislation to protect the company. It is important to define doctrines as "the use of OTC, and textbooks should include important issues such as equal opportunities and harassment in the workplace. However, any legalistic tone to your employee handbook also sends clear signals about the culture of your company.

Engine Marketing Handbook is broad in scope, and contains positive and terminology of motivation. This manual contains general instructions for employees to "feel good". A positive marketing message can excite current and future employees the same. It gives an idea of your corporate culture and values. However, feeling "good" manual alone can not serve well the long term. And if it is too filled with shallow marketing messages, current and potential employees will have until the end. In addition, it may not correspond to providing guidelines Clear and establish clear parameters for decision making.

You can create your own guide, or resort to legal experts, or the use of Employee Handbook software, or hire an outside consultant to help to write one. Whatever method you choose, the final content must meet the criteria to meet the purpose and intent of your manual.
