The disability discrimination in the workplace and its justification

Discrimination is a sin against humanity. Ironically Witnesses the company of a multitude of incidents that clearly discriminate these. Discrimination on grounds of disability, color, race, sex, marital status is against civil rights. Discrimination is very apparent in workplaces especially in the case of persons with disabilities. It is more obvious in cases where a person is discrimination for physical disability. The disability discrimination in the workplace can include degrading or firing an employee without a reasonable clause. It The same can be reflected in the treatment applicable to the employer of a person with disability in terms of recruitment, promotion, job assignments, covers health and certain services.

In accordance with the guidelines of discrimination related to disability law, the employer has the right to dismiss a disabled person if you can not perform an operation that another human being can achieve. However, at the same time, it is essential that the employer made an effort to make changes in their working environment for very suitable conditions for the disabled person to carry out their normal course of operation. This is a common perception that disability is a physical phenomenon. According to statistics, each of the six individual suffers from a mental disability. Mental often due to stress factors such as disability, anxiety and sleep disorders and may be fatal employee health and welfare. In most cases, issues or problems at home, even in the workplace can be the cause. The employer must take these issues seriously and try to resolve it as best as possible.

The guidelines of the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 makes it illegal for employers to discriminate against a person on grounds of disability. Relatives and friends of people with disabilities are also included in this law. Since then, the law has changed and has been refined to serve the interests of people with disabilities. In accordance with the guidelines of the Disability Discrimination Act 2005, is illegal for an employer to employees from discrimination on grounds of disability. In addition to the employers, the Disability Discrimination Act applies to employment agencies, unions and organizations registered with the control of the profession to treat more people and eliminate discrimination at a rate faster.
