I want to put a small ad to find employees. Why so expensive?

I posted my ad on craigslist ads on MySpace and because is completely free. I wanted to use some other free sites, but I'm not sure where they are. These ads sites Yahoo ($ 342) and CareerBuilder ($ 476) I think, frankly, are too expensive for a company like mine are crazy. I can run a small business with fewer than 10 employees. I know I can write this wide as a business expense, but how do I earn money if I pay this every time I need an employee? A honest, Craigslist and MySpace have been great "he replied. But I more exposure. I woudn't mind paying up to $ 50 four days for an announcement in the newspapers, but they want more than that. Suggestions?

Yes, my suggestion is pony and paying people. You get what you pay. If your ads work for you for free, do not ask this question, so do not appear, and you get what you paid for. You should also ask these employees if they have friends who want to work for you too. If you are a good employer, they could probably.
